Our tour today, a ferry ride to the nearby Aran Islands, was
cancelled because a massive storm was coming in. So we hung around the hotel room catching up
on stuff. We did drive into town for
lunch at a pub as the hotel doesn’t serve lunch.
The storm hit in the afternoon and the winds were amazingly
strong…about 84 miles an hour. Good
thing we didn’t go to the islands or we might have been stuck there.
