The day is a bit gloomy with intermittent sprinkles…a
typical Irish day. Mid-morning we headed
out for lunch and then on to see a bit of the sights. First stop was the statue of Molly Malone of
the Irish song about Molly Malone and her cockles and mussels.
We then went to Trinity College and booked a tour with one of
the students, a woman law student. She
had a lot of history about the college and the architecture.
A couple of the main items pointed out were the Campanile…
and the Sphere within Sphere (which we think looks like the Death Star from the Star Wars movies).

We then got in line to go into the library to see the Book
of Kells. However, they were having some
issues with letting people in so we decided to come back the next day.
