After some more walking the city we found the Spirit of
Belfast, an interesting art piece in a plaza.
We found the waterfront and one of the art pieces there was
the Beacon of Hope or the Thanksgiving Square Beacon (nicknames include Nuala with the Hula, the Belle on the Ball, the Thing with the Ring, or the Angel of Thanksgiving). Regardless of the name it was very
interesting.
On the way back to the hotel we found a building with a mural depicting King William III, Prince of Orange on one end. It commemorated his landing of 1690 as part of the war that eventually overthrew James II and established William and Mary as monarch of England (and Ireland).
We also saw this interesting mosaic on a door. It was constructed entirely of various colored bottle caps nailed to the door.
